Instagram 6.0 Update Offers New Creative Tools and Improves Old Ones

Instagram 6.0 has been released to both the App Store and Google Play Store (for ICS and above) and the app offers new tools, including Filter strength, Adjust, Brightness, Contrast, Warmth, Saturation, Highlights, Shadows, Vignette, and Sharpen.

Here’s a video walkthrough of the new stuff:

Improved tools include Straighten, Border, Blur/Tilt Shift, Crop, Lux, Rotate, and Simplified video uploads on iOS.

“When you go to select a filter, you’ll now see a new wrench icon. Tap it and you’ll find a tray of photo editing tools ready for you to explore. You can also now adjust how much of a filter you apply to a photo by double tapping the filter icon.” That’s according to the Instagram blog.

The Android above is the LG G2.

Do follow us on Instagram (although we’d prefer you do it on FaceBook), anyway…

Update away and enjoy!
