March 26, 2024, MANILA – All seven PUBG MOBILE Philippines teams made the cut in the inaugural PUBG Mobile Challengers League – Southeast Asia Spring 2024. Led by the champion Harame Bro who emerged victorious in the PUBG MOBILE National Championships (PMNC) last January, the teams 214 Akira, Exquisite Esports, Dread Esports, ELV8 Esports, Playbook Esports (PBE) and Enigma Harame Bro are out to battle the best from Myanmar, Cambodia, and Singapore during the Grand Finals, happening over the weekend March 29-31, 2024. 

The integration of esports into mainstream culture has opened doors for young Filipinos to pursue professional gaming careers. Franchesca Fajardo, Esports Manager at PUBG MOBILE Philippines, shares her optimism for the growth of the PUBG Mobile esports scene in the country and a podium finish in the Challengers League: “We are hopeful for the Filipino PUBG Mobile esports community to be well-represented on the global stage.
