Here comes more updates and features of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl 

The Pokémon Company has just released updates about Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl in a promotional video. Pokémon fans can find out more on the official introduction of Pokétch and Amity Square at https://youtu.be/DNCk_8pyQmk  .

Another exciting news is the inclusion of the all-purpose Pokétch! As players proceed through their adventure, they’ll get to use more and more apps. Pokétch is a handy gadget that’s loaded up with various apps. This all-purpose tool has apps for all sorts of situations, such as the Dowsing Machine to help find hidden items, and the Memo Pad that comes handy when it’s time to take some quick notes.

The Digital Watch is the first app that is available on Pokétch. Whenever players lose track of time during their adventure, they have this app to assist them.

The Dowsing Machine can help players locate hidden or rare items, while the Memo Pad is not only for writing, but also for drawing pictures! The Friendship Checker shows how close players have grown with their Pokémon. The more hearts there are, the closer they feel for each other. In addition, players can now have fun and play with their Pokémon in Amity Square! Amity Square in Hearthome City is a relaxing place where players spend time with their Pokémon. It has previously appeared in Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl. In Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl, players will be able to walk with up to six Pokémon at a time from a specific list.

While in Amity Square, players can take commemorative photos with their Pokémon, too! To take a photo, adjust the camera angle and zoom level, then press the Nintendo Switch’s Capture Button, or press and hold the Capture Button to record video. Players can visit Amity Square anytime so they can have fun with their Pokémon, take a quick breather, and rest from their adventure.

During the adventure, players can also get to meet interesting people in the Sinnoh region.

Gardenia is the leader of the Eterna City Gym. She loves plants and nature, and uses Grass-type Pokémon—with Roserade heading her team. In contrast to her superb skill as a Trainer, she’s deathly afraid of ghosts.

There is also Cheryl, the gentle Trainer who says she’s not great at battling. Cheryl can briefly join the player’s travels and help out in a battle. She had raised her Chansey with love and care, thus, they have a strong bond.

Riley is an even-tempered Trainer with a strange air about him. Riley and his partner Lucario also travel with players for a time. They can become powerful allies in the player’s efforts to stop Team Galactic’s sinister plots.
