Despite many Filipinos’ decision to look for jobs overseas, there are still many job opportunities here at home. And those jobs are found in the continuous expansion of local business from various industries.

According to the latest Labor Force Survey, the country’s employment rate grew to 95.5% on October 2022, from 95.0% from the previous month.

BDO Network Bank, the community bank of BDO, continues with their branch expansion in far-flung provinces. More than 800 job positions such as branch heads, service officers, account officers, and marketing assistants were opened to support 106 branches and loan offices set to open in 2022.

“Creating opportunities for local talent in various communities is not just in support of BDO Network Bank expansion. Our goal is to help improve the national economy,” said Jesus Antonio S. Itchon, President of BDO Network Bank (BDONB). It is expected that more job opportunities will be created in line with BDONB’s plan to open an additional 100 branches in the provinces in 2023.

Opportunities closer to home

BDONB aims to help our local job seekers find work in the towns and cities where they live, so they can still be close to their families.
