Beginning 12 May 2015, LINE users will now benefit from the new $0.09 (P4.05) per minute rate, compared to the old rate of $0.14 (P6.30). Filipinos residing in Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Japan, India, US, Thailand, Malaysia and Greece can take advantage of the offer by simply purchasing LINE call credits using their credit or debit card and can start calling their family and friends back home.

“Strengthening our relationships with top messaging platforms help us give our customers value for money services. Inspired by how Filipinos around the world value keeping ties with their loved ones back home, we strive to provide an affordable way for them to connect as frequently as they can with our partnership with LINE,” said Globe EVP & COO for International and Business Markets Gil Genio.
