Agile, flexible, and forward-thinking.

In the middle of a disruptive and life-changing pandemic, these key traits kept real estate developer Torre Lorenzo Development Corporation (TLDC) on track towards achieving their goals, some of which have now seen full completion and turnover to its stakeholders despite the challenges faced by the industry.

By the first half of the year 2022, reservation sales were already 4.7x more than what it was one year prior with projections pointing to 170% growth by year-end.

“We saw the challenges and turned them into opportunities,” says TLDC CEO Tomas Lorenzo. “When the pandemic hit, we made it a point to pivot our business and cater to what works for our stakeholders.”

Part of what made TLDC’s response to the pandemic successful was the company’s readiness to respond to a volatile work environment, Lorenzo explains. Prior to the pandemic, TLDC had already embedded initiatives in its operations and residential plans that would anticipate new ways of living and working. These include advanced safety and security features in their buildings, spacious and well-thought-out amenities, and provision for high-speed internet connectivity.

“When the pandemic hit, all we had to do was strengthen and accelerate the innovations that were already in place,” Lorenzo adds.

Bullish on expansion

TLDC was able to turn over and inaugurate premium residences 3Torre Lorenzo on P. Ocampo Street (formerly Vito Cruz) corner Taft Avenue in Manila, and Torre Lorenzo Malate (TLM) on Malvar Street also in Manila on time and on-spec in December 2021.

The Company is in the thick of construction and development with more properties on the rise in Metro Manila and in key economic centers that, aligned with the Company’s tagline, are “designed for tomorrow”.

The 35-storey premium residential development Torre Lorenzo Loyola in Katipunan, Quezon City was topped off and is on track to completion and turnover by 2023.

TLDC also launched a second residential tower at Tierra Lorenzo Lipa in Batangas, the city’s first urban lifestyle center and mixed-use development.

Work has begun on the expansion of five-star accommodations and amenities at the Dusit Thani Lubi Plantation Resort in the Davao Gulf. TLDC will also expand its mixed-use development in Tierra Davao. It will build two residential towers called The Crown Residences and The Crest Residences and add office and commercial spaces to cater to the growing economic sector of the Davao region.

With new exciting projects and partnerships in the pipeline, TLDC continues to work towards its vision and create an even stronger and more agile company, while being committed to creating value and growing sustainably through responsible water and energy management, incorporating wellness in the design of its properties, and promoting sustainable tourism. For more information on TLDC and its portfolio of properties, visit www.torrelorenzo.com
