PLDT HOME and Smart pioneer PH’s first data sharing capabilities

Under its new Speedster Fam Plan 1299, PLDT HOME DSL offers five times faster speeds of up to 10 megabits per second (Mbps) and a monthly data allocation of 50 gigabytes (GB). Moreover, subscribers who upgrade their Speedster Plan with a Smart mobile plan 399 or plan 600 can share 6 GB of the 50 GB monthly data allocation to their mobile phone lines which they can use even outside the home.

PayMaya expands reloading stations nationwide – Available for reloading in over 15,000 establishments

Introduced last August by Smart eMoney, Inc., the digital financial services unit of PLDT and Smart, PayMaya is the first of its kind, all-in-one digital payments mobile app that can be used for online shopping, peer-to-peer transfers and telco airtime reloading. It also comes with a physical PayMaya Visa card can be used for any face-to-face transaction with any merchant accepting Visa as well as ATM withdrawals.

‘Communications as aid’, Smart provides vital communications for Typhoon Lando response efforts

Aside from free calling and charging stations, Smart is offering other platforms that will enable the public to take part in post-Typhoon Lando relief efforts. Smart subscribers can donate to the Philippine Red Cross by texting RED to 4143 (ex. RED 100 to 4143). Donations are accepted in the following amounts: 10, 25, 50, 100, 300, 500, 1000.
