Rampage 2014, the biggest gathering of League of Legends fans in the country, supported by GameX, the online portal developed by wireless services leader Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) for eSports players, was a huge success this year, running a full and exciting day of games and activities.

League of Legends pits two teams of powerful champions in a head-to-head battle across different fields and game modes. The game’s unique and exciting design requires a lot of strategy and coordination among team members, and is one of the reasons for its keen following worldwide.

Among the highlights of the event held at the World Trade Center was the GameX Pro Gaming Series tournament, a search for the country’s top League of Legends group that will represent the country to the world arena. Thousands of gaming aficionados trooped to the venue to root for the country’s top four League of Legends teams.
