Canon Philippines has announced four new cameras – the Canon EOS 3000D and EOS 1500D beginner DSLRs, the EOS M50 mirrorless camera, the PowerShot G1X Mark III – plus the first AI speedlens, the Canon Speedlite 470EX-A1. Canon Ph also announced their social media contest for Canon users, whose winner will get a Canon camera. These new products were announced at last March 22, 2018 at the Manila Polo Club, Makati.
Beginner’s Cameras – the Canon EOS 3000D and EOS 1500D
Both come with WiFi connectivity, Scene Intelligent Auto Mode, and creative filters, on top of their standard shooting modes. SRP of both models not available during launch.

Canon Social Media Contest
Canon users can share their best travel memory to win a brand new Canon camera. Participants can upload their entry, specific Canon camera and settings. They shall use the hashtags #TeamCanonPH and #shareyourbest. And they need to make sure to set their posts to public.
The contest starts on March 22 and the 3 winners of Canon cameras will be announced on March 27. The criteria are 50% composition and relevance to theme, 25% copy and write up, and 25% post engagement. Follow Canon Philippines on social media for details.
