ASG Technologies, a leading provider of solutions for the information-powered enterprise, today announced the launch of its Women Leaders in Technology (WLIT) program. A staple at ASG’s annual EVOLVE conference, the Women Leaders in Technology program brings together women leaders in tech from ASG, its partners and customers, as well as other influential women in the industry for an interactive “Coffee Talk” session where women discuss their personal and professional experiences throughout their career. Each year, the session has seen massive success, with many attendees of this year’s conference—EVOLVE20—requesting the program’s expansion. As a longtime supporter of women in technology, ASG has broadened the program to run year-round.

The revamped program will feature quarterly virtual “Coffee Talk” sessions with women leaders for WLIT community members. The sessions will be hosted by Mary Wells, ASG’s SVP of marketing, who is a champion for women in tech and the catalyst behind this program. Guests will include a mix of industry influencers, authors and executives who will share their personal experiences as women in the tech industry, as well as valuable insights for personal and professional growth. The “Coffee Talk” sessions will be formatted (virtually) to provide the opportunity for a two-way conversation between panelists and attendees to encourage sharing and learning for all members.

In addition to the quarterly “Coffee Talk” sessions, attendees can join ASG’s Women Leaders in Technology Community. The group is dedicated to leading and mentoring women now and for generations to come. ASG’s team of WLIT ambassadors—a group of some of ASG’s impressive women employees from across the globe—will engage the community with relevant articles, industry events and other content to continuously support members’ journeys as women leaders in technology. ASG WLIT ambassadors and panelists will also share blog posts every quarter to recap the “Coffee Talk” sessions and share a steady stream of relevant thought leadership for our members.

“As a woman who has been in the technology industry for decades, I am thrilled to be at the helm of ASG’s Women Leaders in Technology program,” said Wells. “The technology industry is constantly disrupted and changing, and it is critical that women have a place to share their unique experiences, ideas and stories with one another—embracing the disruptions and seeing them as opportunities. I look forward to the invaluable insights that will be discovered during these “Coffee Talk” sessions and within our community.”

ASG invites its customers, partners and employees, as well as anyone in the industry to join. The first “Coffee Talk” session is scheduled to take place on International Women’s Day (March 8). To register, please visit the Women Leaders in Technology page on ASG’s website. ASG’s second “Coffee Talk” session, a book club hosted by Please Stay: How Women in Tech Survive and Thrive authors Debra Christmas and Kelley Irwin will take place on June 8. Registration will be available in February.
