A partnership between Shakey’s Philippines and Globe Business now allows (1) GCash users to pay for their favorite food and drinks at Shakey’s, (2) Globe customers to order at Shakey’s toll-free via mobile phones and landlines (via #77777), and (3) GCash Scan-to-Pay service (initially) at 11 Shakey’s branches.
The 11 Shakey’s branches are BGC Stopover, Market Market, Venice Grand Canal Mall, Loyola (Katipunan), Buendia, Valero, Glorietta, Park Square Makati, Makati Avenue, UPS (Shakey’s WOW Center), and Magallanes. Shakey’s Philippines has over 200 stores nationwide and plans to roll out GCash Scan-to-Pay by the end of 2018.
To use GCash Scan-to-Pay, you need to download for free the GCash app for iOS and Android, register for an account, and top up your GCash wallet at any of over 12,000 GCash Partner Outlets nationwide. Once your GCash wallet has been topped up, you can swipe to the left or choose Pay QR, then Scan QR and point your smartphone’s camera to the merchant’s QR code to scan.
You can also pay bills and send money through the GCash App.
