PLDT HOME’s TVolution Stick turns your TV into a PC and Entertainment Hub

No bigger than a dongle and based on Intel’s Compute Stick, PLDT HOME’s TVolution Stick turns your HDMI-ready TV (or monitor) into both an Internet TV and a Windows 8.1 computer. So, through your TV or monitor, you can run Windows applications, watch content from Fox and iflix, and go online. That’s productivity and entertainment coupled with the strong broadband connection of PLDT, all in one stick.

The TVolution Stick runs on Windows 8.1 (free upgrade to Windows 10), allowing you to do whatever you can do with a normal PC – run Photoshop, surf the web, do spreadsheets, install legacy apps, check and fire off emails.

TVolution Stick Specs

Offering integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth technologies, the TVolution Stick runs on a quad-core Intel® Atom™ processor and Intel® HD Graphics to ensure smooth performance and vivid picture quality. Its pocket-sized, portable, carries 32 GB storage, 2 GB memory, a USB 2.0 port, and a Micro SD card slot. You simply need to plug the TVolution Stick into the TV’s or monitor‘s HDMI port to activate the computer on screen, and can easily charge it via DC wall charger or powerbank. The TVolution is based on Intel’s Compute Stick.

Groundbreaking partnership

This partnership between Intel and PLDT HOME is the latest in PLDT’s groundbreaking partnerships, the most recent being those with Fox International Channels (a global entertainment company and Asia Pacific’s leading broadcaster) and iflix (Southeast Asia’s leading Internet TV service).
