LG’s 2018 flagship, the LG G7 ThinQ, is now available in the Philippines. Its key features include its signature dual normal (16MP, F1.6) and wide angle rear (16MP, F1.6, 71-degree field of view) cameras, an improved 8MP (F1.9, 80-degree wide-angle) selfie camera (LG fans wanted this for so long), Boombox Stereo Speakers (any flat surface amplifies the sound), 32-bit HiFi Quad DAC (for audiophiles), a bright and crisp 6.1-inch QHD+ display (when many phones only have FHD+), a non-annoying Google assistant physical button (take that, Bixby), wireless charging (which the Huawei Mate 10 and P20 flagships don’t have), and the usual IP68 dust and water resistance. Only the 4GB RAM + 64GB Storage variant will be available in the Philippines.

The G7 now runs Snapdragon 845, which can handle demanding tasks, including the G7’s Artificial Intelligence technology that handles scene recognition and image optimization for its camera app. The G7 now joins the slew of smartphones with the now-prevalent notch.

Here’s a quick look at the LG G7 ThinQ’s key features:

We suspect the LG G7’s video quality and hand-held stabilization will be splendid, given that the same feature on the G5 and G6 worked so well. While the G7 ThinQ comes in new platinum gray, new aurora black, new moroccan blue, and raspberry rose, only the black and blue colors will be available in the Philippines.

Pre-order buyers of the G7 get an LG TONE INFINIM Bluetooth stereo headset (worth Php 7,490), a Fast-charging wireless charger (worth Php 1,900), and an LG G7 ThinQ premium case (worth Php 1,500).
