Meralco’s social development arm, One Meralco Foundation (OMF), celebrates the electrification of 100 off-grid public schools in far-flung communities through its school electrification program. OMF enlisted the help of Meralco Energy, Inc. (MServ) in installing solar photovoltaic systems in schools without electricity both within and beyond the Meralco franchise area. Every school energized by the program also received a multimedia package consisting of an LED TV, a laptop computer and a printer donated by Meralco employees through Meralco Employees Fund for Charity (MEFCI).MERALCO Energizes 100 Off-Grid Schools, and Counting
