Lenovo’s Dual Mode Flex 2 Offers Flexibility of Function and Affordability





 

MANILA, Philippines:  Lenovo (HKSE: 992) (ADR: LNVGY)  has announced the Flex 2, an affordable new addition to its Flex family of dual mode laptops. It features a 300-degree hinge that allows users to switch between a traditional “Laptop mode” for work and “Stand mode” for watching movies or presentations. The Flex 2 improves on the original Flex laptop with an enhanced visual experience, thanks to a full HD screen and discrete graphics models.

Two Modes in One Machine  

The Flex 2 gives users one of the most affordable “convertible-like” PCs, with two unique modes in one machine. Users can enjoy the benefits of a Windows 8.1 touch-centric experience in both modes via the 10-finger multitouch screen.

Flex 2 works great in its traditional clamshell laptop mode for productivity tasks with its comfortable keyboard with its stylish and functional one piece multitouch touchpad with an optional cool metal palmrest. Then simply flip the keyboard underneath the screen 300° to transition into Stand mode for a different way to watch movies and riveting digital content up close.

Available in 14 and 15.6-inch screen variants, the Flex 2 takes Lenovo’s family of dual mode devices to the next level with its new design and performance features. The Flex 2 laptop is attention-grabbing, with its 300° rotational capability and an optional backlit keyboard, which completes the look on this beautiful device.

Consumers will love the eye-popping visuals with a noticeably brighter full HD 1920X1080 widescreen display on select models. Users can choose NVIDIA GeForce graphics on models with up to 4th generation Intel Core i7 processors for a rich entertainment experience, making images in games and videos display quickly and smoothly.

Equipped with Dolby Advanced Audio v2 technology, the Flex 2 offers a clearer and more consistent sound experience when playing games, listening to music, and watching movies. It also comes with an optional dual array digital microphone for truer to life calls when using the 720p HD webcam for users who love to video chat.

Compared to its predecessor, the Flex 2 provides an overall better user experience thanks to several advancements in processing, storage and memory. For fast and efficient operations, the Flex 2 offers the latest Intel processors,  1 TB of HD, and a long battery life.

Pricing and Availability

The Flex 2, which comes in white and red for the 14-inch model and black for the 15.6-inch model, is available starting from Php30,495 and Php49,995 respectively,  through  select Lenovo Exclusive Stores (LES) and authorized retailers.
