G-Xchange, Inc. (GXI), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Globe Telecom and operator of GCash, continues to expand its nationwide footprint as part of its commitment to grow its customer base with its recent partnership with Gate Distribution, Inc., and ECPay.

Gate Distribution, Inc. is the largest prepaid distributor of cards for phone, gaming, and internet, while ECPay is the leading electronic payment system provider in the country operating as a secure e-warehouse and e-payments data center for prepaid products, bills payments, airline ticket payments, and online shopping transaction payments.

With the partnership, GCash cash-in outlets will be available in over 4,000 Gate Distribution outlets nationwide, 1,300 of which are in 7-Eleven, ECPay’s biggest client. Cash-in is the term used for converting cash to GCash. Service fee for cash-in to self and others via ECPay is waived. Meanwhile, Gate Distribution, Inc. will also be an authorized Globe Charge reseller.

On top of making cash-in/cash-out transactions in accredited GCash outlets and partners nationwide, GCash customers can visit any Globe store. Cashing in to a GCash wallet is free, while cash-in to others or cash-out has a P20 service fee for any amount P1,000 and below and any amount in excess of P1,000.
