Cherry Mobile launches the unbelievably low-priced Flare 4, Flare S4, and Flare S4 Plus

Cherry Mobile adds three new phones in their Flare series – the 5-inch P4999 Flare 4, the 5-inch P4999 Flare S4, and the premium-looking P7999 5.5-inch 3GB RAM Flare S4 Plus. Anne Curtis attended the launch. The new Flare phones will be available by the end of October 2015.

The Flare 4 and Flare S4 have nearly similar specs, except that the S4 has Dragon Trail Glass protection, a marginally higher battery capacity, a metallic frame, a prism-design rear cover (similar to the ASUS ZenFone 2 Deluxe). The Flare 4, meanwhile, has a plastic back. The Alcatel Flash 2 has nearly the same specs as the Flare 4 and Flare S4, but is priced higher (P6190 at Lazada).

The Flare S4 looks premium: a metal frame and a design that reminds you of the Huawei Mate 7. You wouldn’t think you’re paying only P8k for this. Also, neither the P7999 Lenovo A7000 Plus nor the P8695 ASUS ZenFone Laser have 3GB RAM.
